Junior Software Developer.

Hi, My name is Kimberley! I am based in London. I've completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science with distinction and was recepient of scholarships in my second and third year. My first job was in retail where I worked for around 5 years. Working in a fast-paced environment at a management position helped develop skills which are transferrable to any role. Delivering KPIs, communicating with different stakeholders and managing a team were few of the tasks involved.

Using code to solve problems and debugging code was something I missed and so started my quest to get back in tech. After gaining a diploma in FullStack Web Development, I secured a role as a BA. Enjoyed and learned a lot however I was still not involved in coding. I then got an opportunity to switch to a tech department in the same organisation. The role focused on Microsoft products and python. I then joined _nology_ as a junior software developer trainee.

My eagerness to learning new skills is something that follows me even outside my professional life. Currently learning Muay Thai and Salsa. I also taught myself to bake and I'm the default baker for all the birthdays in my family.
